1. Purpose
The Empowering Women Entrepreneurship initiative by Dialme Today aims to create opportunities for women, particularly housewives, to participate in Bangladesh’s growing digital economy. This program supports women in turning their homemade goods into sustainable businesses by providing access to an exclusive e-commerce platform, logistical support, and fair trade opportunities.
2. Objectives
Empower housewives to become entrepreneurs through online commerce.
Promote authentic, locally-made, and home-produced products.
Ensure financial inclusion and independence for women participants.
Maintain product authenticity, quality, and consumer trust.
3. Eligibility
Only women (18 years or older) residing in Bangladesh may apply.
Applicants must be housewives or women producing homemade items (e.g., food, handicrafts, clothing, organic products, household goods).
Products must be original, safe, and comply with food safety, consumer rights, and e-commerce regulations of Bangladesh.
4. Product Guidelines
Homemade & Authentic: Only self-made or locally produced products are eligible.
Prohibited Items: Counterfeit, unsafe, harmful, or restricted products are not allowed.
Packaging Standards: Products must be hygienically packed, labeled, and safe for transport.
Quality Assurance: Dialme Today reserves the right to inspect and approve items before listing.
5. Seller Support
Dialme Today will provide:
Onboarding & Training: Guidance on product listing, digital selling, and business practices.
E-commerce Platform Access: A dedicated seller dashboard for order management.
Marketing & Promotion: Exclusive promotional support to highlight women entrepreneurs.
Logistics & Delivery: Reliable collection and delivery services across Bangladesh.
6. Revenue Model
Sellers will receive fair pricing for their products.
A small service fee/commission may apply to cover platform and operational costs.
7. Responsibilities of Participants
- Ensure authenticity, quality, and originality of products.
- Deliver products on time when requested by the platform.
- Maintain transparency in pricing and comply with platform rules.
- Respect consumer rights and respond promptly to feedback or complaints.
8. Dialme Today’s Responsibilities
- Provide equal opportunities and fair visibility for all women entrepreneurs.
- Ensure safe transactions, customer satisfaction, and dispute resolution.
- Protect sellers’ rights and intellectual property.
9. Code of Conduct
All participants must:
- Operate with honesty, fairness, and professionalism.
- Avoid misuse of the platform for fraudulent or unethical activities.
- Adhere to national laws, regulations, and Dialme Today policies.
10. Monitoring & Termination
- Dialme Today reserves the right to monitor sellers’ activities to ensure compliance.
- Any violation of this policy (e.g., selling counterfeit, unsafe, or unauthorized items) may lead to account suspension or termination.
How to Join:
Step 1: Application
- Fill out the online registration form on Dialme Today’s website.
- Provide your name, contact details, and a short description of the homemade products you wish to sell.
Step 2: Product Review & Approval
- Submit product details (type, photos, ingredients/materials, packaging).
- Our team will review to ensure products meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Once approved, your products will be listed on Dialme Today’s marketplace.
Step 3: Training & Onboarding
- Get access to short training sessions (online/offline) on:
- Digital selling basics
- Product packaging & labeling
- Pricing & customer service
- Learn how to manage orders using our seller dashboard.
Step 4: Start Selling
- Once live, customers across Bangladesh can view and purchase your products.
- Dialme Today will promote women entrepreneurs through marketing campaigns.
Step 5: Order Fulfillment
- When an order is placed, Dialme Today’s logistics team will collect the product from you.
- We ensure safe, fast, and reliable delivery to the customer’s doorstep.
Step 6: Payment
- After successful delivery, payments will be transferred directly to your bank account or mobile financial service (bKash, Nagad, Rocket).
